Old Newspaper Articles About South Tillamook County

Beaver (Hm . . . this news may be about the Hemlock area as that's where G.W. Wallace lived and where the Wallace school house was. db)

7/?/1890, Headlight (This page was typed by Maggie & J.R., Nestucca Valley Middle School students during the spring of 2003 as part of a technology class and edited by Dean Bones.)

Henry A. Ely is home again getting ready for haying.

No more sheep missing since G. W. Wallace killed the panther.  Mr. Allen, whose ranch lies near Cedar bridge had his leg cut with a double-bitted axe last week.

School commenced in the Wallace school-house on June 30,  J. C. Norris, of Nestucca, as teacher.

The dance at the Wallace school0house was a pleasant one. A new stove and other useful furniture prove that some good was done by it.
