E. F. Lyster and G.W. Wallace have lost five fine sheep three lambs within the last few weeks. With the assistance of some gentlemen who were camping at West fork, Mr. Wallace succeeded in killing a panther which he thought would measure seven or eight feet in length.

The school house is up, floored, roofed and windows in. There is to be a dance in it some time next week for the purpose of raising money to finish a store and other things necessary to start the school comfortably.

Blue-jays are eating the bees.
