Our fine summer weather seems to be over.
N. L. Fletcher and family have been quite sick for some time.
Salmon are very plenty now, and trout catching is a favorite amusement for campers.
Why are so many of our people from Sand Lake and Big Nestucca going up to Tillamook to do their trading this fall? Our merchants should nip this business in the bud.
Dr. Linton physician has located at Woods, and will practice in the county this winter. Especial attention will be given to healing the sick. All in need of his services should send for him.
The campers are still coming and going regardless of the cool moist weather, but are mostly going. There has been a good supply of them this fall. The scenic Big Nestucca has many attractions to the outside world and is getting to be a favorite place of resort for some people.
Mr. Phelps returned from Portland a ew days ago, having purchased a large stock of general merchandise for the ? trade.
