Bud Wallace lost a sheep and three animals a week ago by either bear or panther.

Mr. Bunn saw a bear near Fred Burrel's place on Monday.

Mrs. Johnson has been visiting her daughter this week. Sorry her stay was so short.

Mr. and Mrs. Nolan and daughter have been spending some days in this vicinity.

Considerable travel on the new stte road now. The old trail seems to be quiet forsaken.

Some fine trout were caught in Bear Creek this week.

A.B. Lyster shipped a box of strawberry plants to his sister, Mrs. G.L. Ely, of Tillamook, from Van Buren Co., Michigan, on the 22nd of May. They arrived in good order on Friday the 30th. Who says our mail is too slow?
